Each boot dryer is individually built to last a lifetime using the best materials available in North America, and certified to the highest standards — which our fire service, police, mining and military customers have come to expect since our start 1989.
Developed in collaboration with a European food safety consultant, our patented Williams Direct Dryers FG series boot and glove dryers deliver unrivaled performance and value.
Every detail was considered to ensure our stainless steel boot dryers help to create the optimal bacteria/pathogen barrier between sterile production and non-sterile areas.
1.
To promote non-touch external cleaning, we put the dryers’ manifold and all of the electrics up top. This allows the footwear to be placed on the dryer, soles up, so the entire outside of the boot can be sprayed quickly and easily with a disinfecting solution.
This top-mount manifold solution allows the dryer to be mounted above the floor, accommodating daily wash-downs under the equipment with minimal risk of getting water near the electronics.
The dryers are designed with water shedding angles to minimize potential fluid dead zones and are self draining as protection against accidental moisture intake.
3.
Streams warm or ambient temperature air. By invoking our energy management switch, energy consumption can dramatically be reduced. The result: 30 pairs of boots can be dried using just over one amp. Available in 110V or 220V configuration. Plugs right in!

All dryers are manufactured in durable food grade, welded and electro polished stainless alloy.
6.
To ensure dry apparel every time, the drying process starts at the toughest area to dry — the toes — with high-volume, gently warmed streaming air. Akron Children’s Hospital reported that apparel continually dried between use on a Williams Direct Dryer removed 99.95% of the bacteria inside the apparel. This also means no boot smell!
With the in-plant boots effectively handled, we also designed a shoe rack to manage the out-of-plant footwear. Our team adopted several similar characteristics of the dryer design, including off the floor, wash-down friendly design with all sloping surfaces.
Now, as part of your risk management plan, you can effectively separate and clean your in-plant from out-of-plant footwear —helping minimizing the risks of cross contamination in your plant. If you are serious about cross contamination control Call us for more information at 866-534-4696
We stand behind our products 100% and pride ourselves in our commitment to customer service. Every Williams Direct Dryer™ product has an industry leading five-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, and a two-year warranty on all electrical components. Plus, we deliver around the globe, certifying internationally in both 120V and 220V.
We’d be pleased to share our findings on the newest technologies and solutions to help prevent cross contamination in your plant and the food processing industry at large.
